StarMaker - 7/19/2009

I am sitting in an audience, having just completed my second day as a guest speaker at Richard Flint’s StarMaker 2009 Seminar. He is on stage now, doing a great presentation and I am compelled to share some of the energy created with you – right now!

The seminar itself is being held at a wonderful Lodge in historic and colonial, Williamsburg, Virginia.  In the audience are people from the world of health care, real estate, law, manufacturing, small business and the general work force of America.

The amazing thing is that the participants have left their homes and families, paid the fee, and endured the trials and tribulations of travel, all to participate in a seminar whose theme is to “Get Healthy From the Inside-Out!”  By the way, such an action, the search for self-improvement, makes them part of an ever growing part of the population who seek a better and more fulfilling life.

But, just coming to a seminar, or reading a few books, or listening to great CDs, or even hiring a Life Coach does not guarantee the success that people desire.   It takes a full and total commitment to passionately engage in the transformation that is necessary. It takes time and effort, focus and determination – it takes being “in the game!”

Being in the game, means you are dedicated to the goal of changing the way you think, becoming aware of your own behavior, modifying the stale and outdated action steps you do take, and learning to break the chain of bad habits that have held you back for all these years.

Getting Healthy From the Inside-Out means you have to assume some responsibility for the decisions and choices you have made in the past – the very ones that put you where you are at the present moment.

Being “healthy” is ultimately about the inner connection between your spirit, your mind and your emotions. When your inner health is good and your nervous system is functioning properly, you have physical health. When your mental health is good, your confidence increases and your self-image improves and you attract everything you need as if by magic.  And, when your spiritual connection is intact your faith and belief connects you to and activates universal laws that guide your journey.

When you are “connected” your imagination challenges you with new thoughts and new dreams and makes taking a risk acceptable to you. That risk is the commitment to change and grow and advance to the next step on your journey to being the best you that you know how to be.

Remember, living outside-in is about being noticed, not remembered – living inside-out is about being remembered, not noticed.

When people live inside-out they do not allow their history to become their destiny; they practice persistence (when there is no way, they find a way); the expansion of their knowledge is a daily routine; they know that all failure is only a lesson that needs to be learned; they can confront and resolve their issues, gain clarity, do affirmations, set goals, visualize and take actions regardless of what others believe.

StarMakers is a great title for a seminar and Richard Flint is a masterful sculptor of the human mind.   Perhaps next year you will join me here at StarMakers!
